EVERY AGENT IS AN 80/20 SPLIT
SOLO AGENT OR TEAM LEADER $16,000 ANNUAL CAP
20% of each commission check goes to eXp until you have paid a total of $16,000 for your calendar year. Following that total, 100% of each commission check goes to you until you begin a new anniversary year.​ *Transaction fees still apply.
TEAM MEMBERS $8,000 ANNUAL CAP
MEGA ICON TEAM MEMBERS $4,000 ANNUAL CAP
Minimum of 25% of each commission check goes to the team leader.

revenue share
HOW IT WORKS
eXp offers revenue sharing, which is the ability to receive a percentage of the 20% split given to eXp by agents you sponsor when they close a real estate transaction. Revenue share is paid within 30 days of all closed transactions and never exceeds 50% of company dollar thus guaranteeing the model's longterm sustainability.
SINGLE AGENT REVENUE SHARE
eXp pays you 3.5% of the commission earned by any agent you personally sponsor, in Tier 1, into the company from the company's portion (up to $2,800 per year)
MULTIPLE AGENT REVENUE SHARE
Agents also earn income from producing agents sponsored into their overall group. For example, if you personally sponsor 5 producing agents into the company, and they sponsor their own producing agents, you can earn up to $3,200 annually for each of those agents on Tier 2, which represents up to 4% of the gross commission.

WHEN DO YOU RECEIVE REVENUE SHARE?
Between the 16th and 22nd of each month, you receive the revenue share generated the previous month.
HOW CAN YOU TRACK YOUR EARNINGS
eXp Realty created a system called Enterprise and it allows you to have a real-time view of all your earnings. You can see your sales data, stock awards, and revenue share for the upcoming month.
Agents can earn or purchase shares in several ways:
AT NO COST (Awarded Shares):
$200 in stock awarded for the first transaction of your anniversary year
$400 in stock to any agent or broker who caps (pays a full $16,000 over the year to eXp)
$400 in stock for each agent you sponsor into the company upon that agent's first closing

There is a 3 year vesting period before awarded (vs. purchased) shares "vest" or belong to the agent. This encourages stability by giving agents an incentive to stay with eXp in order to benefit from the Equity Awards program. For example, if you received a stock award for hitting your commission cap in January of 2020, you could cash it out (or move to your personal brokerage account) in 2023.
AT REDUCED COST (Purchased Shares):
Agents may elect to have 5% of each commission (after splits and fees) invested in shares of the company at a 5% discount to Fair Market Value. In doing so, you are effectively "dollar cost averaging" by buying when the stock is at different prices. This helps you to avoid buying a lot of shares at an all-time high for example.

*Shares that you have purchased may be sold at any time. They do NOT need to vest for 3 years. The only shares that need to vest are shares that have been awarded.
AGENT ICON PROGRAM:
Every agents who meets certain annual production goals, attends the two major eXp events of the year, and meets cultural requirements can quality to earn their entire $16,000 cap in the form of shares in the company. In this case, 25% of the shares vest immediately, and the other 75% vest in the usual 3 year time period.
